The story of the bride and groom begins with them contacting me on the recommendation of a satisfied customer. I must admit, it’s a very nice feeling. At the same time, it’s a great responsibility. They expressed a desire for the photoshoot to be at Maglič, a medieval castle, and I immediately agreed. It’s quite risky to move around Maglič because of snakes. Fortunately, it was during a time when they are not present, so the fear was lesser (I admit, it was still there). What a joy it was to photograph these newlyweds! At times, I thought they were professional movie actors! But then I realized that it’s just them and there’s no acting! I felt like I was part of a movie, which you can see in the photographs. That atmosphere, their emotion, Maglič, nature sparked a flurry of ideas in me! I got inspired to create photographs that are very dear to me personally because they take me back to those moments of genuine emotion. A special impression was made on me by the brave bride! She didn’t mind walking for half an hour uphill, on very uncomfortable terrain, to capture unforgettable moments and memories for a lifetime with her chosen one!
